A copperplate engraved print of a drawing by James Roberts (the engraver was Burnet Reading) taken from Bell’s British Theatre, an extensive collection of plays published by John Bell in London. Mounted and framed. The (modern) frame has some little surface chips and spots. The engraving has some speckles but remains very good, as does the mount. The frame measures approx. 27 x 19.5 cm and the figure of Oedipus is approx. 11 cm high.
